So I ordered my spool adapters July 12th.They have a option on the payment page to upgrade to aluminium spools of your color choice, I chose orange.Post #23 on this page was written moments after I double checked my order and paid.

I did not receive orange or aluminium spools. In fact my name was even spelled completely wrong.I notified them July 16th, they responded asking for my order info on July 17th.I sent them my order ID #, real name, the asian name that they had mislabeled on my package, adress, more then they needed to figure out the problem since my email adress shows my name.

Its almost been a full month since I sent them my info and I haven't received a response.I sent them a email this morning and told them to keep them.At this point id rather just spend $10 to buy aluminium spools off of Amazon then draw this ordeal out longer.

So imo the spools they are FORCING us to use are plastic pos that won't hold the weight of the bike in a minor drop, and they only want to give the aluminium spools they advertise to the people thats actually had them fail.

My adapters didn't even mount smoothly.I tried hand threading both bolts evenly, but the bolt holes wouldn't line up right. They were so snug on the swingarm that I had to tighten the top bolts most of way before the bottom bolts would catch the threads. Not a big deal, but if im paying $70 just for the adapters then they should bolt on as easy as pie, its only 2 bolts to line up.

Sorry for the rant i've been stewing over it for a month now.On top of my troubles, isn't it the T Rex frame sliders that come with cheap bolts?I remember someone else ordering a stand from them that was missing pieces as well.
Where does trex ever MENTION that the spool adapters were designed with the intent of holding the bike up in the case of a drop?

FWIW, I have their spool adapters on my bike and they held up exceptionally well when I laid it down. It slid at least 30 feet on asphalt. The plastic spool is chewed up pretty good, but it's still usable ...and it kept my swing arm off the ground.

This.

People with bikes that have the standard mounts prefer not to have aluminum spools. They can rip out part of the swing arm. I know this isn't the case with the 6r, but I'm saying to not discount the "plastic" spools.

I believe they are actually mdpe. They aren't going to melt from your exhaust.

Im trying to decide on a front and rear set of stands - T rex or Venom
rear spools or no spools
T rex offers a free set of spools with the purchase of a set of stands but spools are just the knobs correct? i would still need the adapters that attach to the swingarm correct? are the rear spool stands that much more stable than the un-spooled versions? If so- is T rex my only/best option for the rear spool package? Im mainly looking for stands for chain work - oil changes - and winter storage.
HELP ME :D

I just installed the T-rex spool adaptors. The one side was a real p.i.t.a to get the bolt on but glad I opted for this set. The stand is very stable. Not sure about the other style but Ive heard they aren't as stable and scratch the swing arm. Heres a close up pic for you. I think its just the spools you get free and would have to still buy the adaptor. The stand I bought was $52 and works awesome. I also got it for same reasons as you are....cleaning, winter storage, etc...... will get front stand too..
