I wanted to get some feedback from you guys as to whether I should change and scrap my rear tire. Basically what happened to me is my chain popped off while I was riding (yep should have tightened it before I went riding) and did some damage to my bike which included puncturing the oil filter which cause all the oil to come out while I was riding. I managed not to crash which I still can't believe since it felt like I was riding on ice once the rear tire got coated. I tried cleaning it a bit with alcohol and rags but it still seems to have a slight film on it. It's a fairly new Dunlop Q2 and I didn't want to throw it away, but if you guys think it will be a safety issue then I guess I have no choice. Any thoughts on whether there is something that I can use to clean it or if it will be ok to ride on provided I take it super easy for like 50 miles or so like if I have a new tire. Thanks in advance
