Default Buying a bike that was in accident

I'm looking at buying a 2012 from a guy that works at towing company. They filled abandoned paperwork and got ncic approved whatever that is... Will I have any trouble registering this bike in ct

If you ask 5 DMV clerks, you will get 7 different answers. It can be very tricky. CT is a PITA to deal with. Be warned.

NCIC only means that it is not currently listed as stolen. It may still have a loan lien on it. You would be fully responsible for paying it off.
