    Default new owner in JAX

Just picked up a 2009 FZ6R with only 1800 miles on it
    mod list included:
    - shorter mirrors
    - grips and levers
    - 2" lowering kit with aftermarket kickstand
    - puig windscreen
    - flush blinkers
    - rear tail delete
    - gear indicator
    - frame sliders
paid 3500, seems like a good deal to me.
    White one is mine

I grew to hate my lowerd fz6r... but only the lowerd part of it, im 5'2 i felt like i needed it lowred ( baught it that way) but as you ride you will see she just doesnt quite perform thr way shed meant to. I now have a non lowered ducati, once you get comfortable with the height everything is butter from there, so in my opinion before you get to comfy set it back to stock. Just my 2 cents after owning a lowered 1 for 6 years

    Default i might try that

I am actually 6ft however I have pretty short legs so the lower kit sits the bike at just the height that I can flat foot the bike. I have been thinking about taking off the kit though.

I would before you get to comfy with it, once your comfy with it being lowered, if you change it back it csn be dangerouse because the bike behaves difetently.
