Did anyone have issues with staples in the rear seat?It looks like the OEM staples are microscopic and normal length staples might start poking ***.
I still plan to make a all new seat.I called a company that makes a extremely high quality high density foam.They strongly recommended rebond for my purpose.So I ordered a 80"x25"x2" sheet of rebond for a new base, and a 1" thick sheet of softer high quality foam with a 16 year life to use for leveling and stuff.I'll have enough to screw up once and enough left over for my atv's seat or something.
Rebond - durable open cell foam for bar stool, car seat cushion
Lux Firm Foam - bench and chair cushions, couch foam replacement
We still wanna see pics of these covers, mounted or not!! LOL
I know, mine are still on a truck somewhere.Just meant that i'm going to try to get you pics of every stage.I have a tablet in the mail to, so i'll finally have access to TapaTalk to post pics soon.Its a race between the tablet and seat covers
but i'm officially in debt again lol

The first 2 pics don't look the same as it does in person.Its bright outside and the light is reflecting differently off the seat then it is my paint.The last picture is a better example of how it matches the paint.Its a dark orange, closer to a red
Canada ships faster than getting crap from Ohio....got mine in today!
This a bit more work than I really wanted, don't know why in my mind I figured these would have some kind of elastic strap and would just pop on/off the seat in 2mins...

I think i'm gonna take mine to some upholstery place. Hopefully I dont get charged too much...
My buddy's uncle has an upholstery place... my buddy worked there for years.
Going to take mine to him tomorrow to do

Glad I stayed away from this group buy. Sounds like it's a pain in the arse! Pun intended! Rather save for performance mods, thinking of getting the Convertibars clip-ons and they're kind of expensive. No one has put them on the 6R yet and looks like they can go under the triple so no drop needed. And in other news......
lol true sounds pretty simple to me. and if you hate a staple gun that much then pay someone for install. pretty simple
